I could watch this for hours.

Ooooooooooh.
A dark-haired martial arts expert who looks like a model???

Carrying a big stick.

I’d love to be that stick somehow.

You can tell somebody really wanted a son… Either way this little girl is a beast, and very technical with her punches, slips and dips. I hope she keeps training and works some take down defense.

Always reblog badass little girls. Holy crap she is so much better than me at boxing its not even funny.

The Way of a Warrior is based on humanity, love, and sincerity; the heart of martial valor is true bravery, wisdom, love, and friendship. Emphasis on the physical aspects of warriorship is futile, for the power of the body is always limited. - Morihei Ueshiba | Aikido Serbia

NOT a knock against MMA, really. I love watching/studying MMA as much as anyone, but this attitude some people have bothers the hell out of me. I understand that companies like the UFC are in the entertainment business and market the violence of martial arts over its traditional backgrounds - which breeds this kind of attitude in most people - but they should really make more of an effort to tell people about the beneficial lifestyle of being a martial artist. MMA was built on the backs of thousands and thousands of years of traditional martial arts that promoted this, after all.
If more people TRULY practiced martial arts, the world would be a much better place… as opposed to a place where people just punch, kick, throw, and choke the crap out of each other. I could write an essay on this topic (and I have), but I’ll leave it at that for now.
